Job Description

Lead the development of File Viewer for Android, a universal file viewer and file manager that opens over 150 different file types.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop app features using modern Android technologies and appropriate design patterns
• Contribute to user experience and user interface design
• Implement robust testing and quality assurance procedures
• Publish app updates to Google Play and monitor analytics and user feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years Android development
• In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK and design patterns
• Demonstrated experience architecting and implementing native Android solutions
• Kotlin and/or Java
• Android Studio
• Git

Desired Skills

• Highly self-motivated
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with publishing apps to Google Play
• Android NDK and C/C++
• User interface design
• General knowledge of file formats
• Experience with Android storage access permissions (Scoped Storage, Storage Access Framework, etc.)
